Check out the added gigs over there in the event list. Some nice shows coming up. The Beljar show at CB's Gallery will be very cool. I added a revised resume to my bio/disco page. It's a .pdf file. Thanks to Dan @ chemical imbalance for getting it tight. Hello Detroit! I'm coming for you.....

Nice week. Had a meeting with Banyan Productions about mixing some of their TV shows(Trading Spaces et al.). Which would be interesting. Almost done with a new track. "1 by One" is the working title. It needs a vocal, but I'll put it up here before I worry about that. Celebrated my Brother's marriage last night on a boat in the Philly harbor. Great time. Ran into Jason Armstrong at the party. Always good to see him. Hopefully we'll make it back into the studio soon. Remember. Golf.

Bam! Chris and I made some good progress on the track we started eons ago. We added a killer sample from the 80's smash hit dancefloor burner "Can you feel the beat!" by Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jams. I'll upload the .mp3 this weekend when we mix it. It's crazy. Peace and love to mango rum and 7-Up.

Had a good Woodenbox reheardal this week and a bit of a business meeting as well, which is nice. I also got a chance to really listen to those Beljar CDs I wrote about a while ago. Kevin is a killer songwriter. Check out the acoustic record he made in 2000. "Fallen" And "Worldshaker" are killer songs. He's playing at CB's Gallery in August. Let's go check it out! Played golf yesterday and the day before. Still in the high 90s. Working on it though. La. Oren from Woodenbox is off on a vacation for a few weeks. He'll be missed.

Wowza! Gary @ Stairway Records brought the PA. Jenn Stang, Woodenbox, Urbana, Dr. What and Stang brought the rock. Stang lit it up as usual with their amazing rock acrobatics. Dr. What was just a great band. Dubby, jammy, yummy stuff. Urbana kicked with a retro/funk/freedom rock sound. Jenn Stang's debut performance was a hit. Woodenbox, well, we had a great first show with the new lineup. Fun fun. I'll have links to the bands posted soon. Peace.

Sorry for the dissappearing act. My hosting company ix web hosting had their name servers reset for unknown reasons. I can't recommend them as a host. We had a nice weekend in Ridgewood with Chrissy's family. My Dad is out of the hospital and recovering at home. Planning on going to see Farenheit 9/11 today. I'll be at the Speakeasy Cafe Friday and Saturday doing sound. Come on by.

Some date changes for the Woodenbox shows. Check out the events over there ------> Working at Studio 4 with Jenn again today. Cutting vocals. Playing golf tomorrow with my brother. If he can wake up by 11AM. Crazy. Started a very sexy house cut. Dirty! I'll have that done next week. Also considering finishing those 4 guitar things and putting out an EP. It's some cinematic, moody, emotionally detached instrumentals that I happen to be singing on. We'll see. Give peace a chance.

S. Hussein is on trial for crimes against humanity. Hussein ordered his forces to kill, wound, rape, and degrade the Kurds. We're trying MPs and low ranking US military officers for carrying out interrogations in Abu Gharib prison that violate the Geneva convention. Hmm. Why aren't we trying every 22 year old Iraqi soldier that was involved in supressing the Kurdish resistance? Double standard? I think so. If all was right with the world, we'd follow the chain of command up into the dark clouds of military administration. We'd find who gave the orders that Iraqui detainees be treated like animals. And we'd book the court room.
