Timothy Day is endorsing John Kerry for President of the United States. Getting NATO, the UN, and the rest of the Islamic world involved in Iraq is the key to peace in Iraq and the region. Tax credits for education are very important and Kerry's plan for a new City-Year/Americorp program to pay for college is really smart. The economy needs a kick in the ass. I am confused by Haliburton and how a plane full of Saudis left the country on Sept. 11, 2001. This is how I feel. That's how I'm voting.

Spent another day with the Kyma system. Whoo wee. Really getting my mind around it. Actually used it as a vocoder on one of the songs for my EP. Very good. I'll have the 4 songs ready by the end of the week. Just mixing and tweaking a bit more. I'll be revamping the music page, and adding photos on friday. Stay tuned. Oh, I axed the date and time block from the right column over there ---> It was sort of annoying.

I am pleased to announce that I am now the proud owner of a Kyma X system and Capybara 320. I'll be spending this week going through the tutorials. It's a terribly powerful system. Check out the link over there --->>> SSC Kyma X. More later...

Attended a very interesting lecture/conversation last night by the Cranbrook Academy's Gerhardt Knodel and MOMA's President Emeritus Agnes Gund. Ms. Gund is an avid collector and force on the art scene. Very nice woman. Self effacing about her extreme inherited wealth. She's a friend of Christo and Jean-Claude and whatnot. She ended her talk with the fact that she sees a lot of great work in studios that will never see the light of a studio. eal upper for the student crowd. Odd.

This is from a woman we met a long time ago at the School at the Art Institute of Chicago(SAIC): How many performance artists does it take to screw in a light bulb? I don't know, I left before they were finished. I think that's hysterical.

Had a great session last night at Banyan doing an episode of Trading Spaces Family for TLC. Good episode. Also had a great session with Connie McKendrick today. Killer song. More on that later. Returning to Motown on Friday after another session tomorrow with Connie. Looking forward to getting back to work on my EP. Yeah!

Had a drink with Nick Kessler tonight. We played in the Secession Movement together for many years. He's back in Philly, taking great photographs. Good to see an old friend. How about those Eagles! My trusty cell phone died today. Samsung SGH-S105 great T-Moble phone. I'm on the hunt for its replacement.

Made some changes to the site yesterday. Got the date and time over there ----->>I put rollovers on the buttons at the bottom. Also working on getting a counter happening.
Lots of studio time this week also. Had a chance to really dig into some things. I've got 4 tracks in mind for an EP. They are almost done. I'd like to mix them somewhere else. Have to work on that.
I'll be returning to Philadelphia on Monday for the week. Doing a show for Banyan and cutting vocals and mixing with my old friend Connie McKendrick. That'll be great.

Been in the studio for the last few working on some new ideas. I'm in the throws of getting groups of songs organized. I'm thinking EPs maybe. Reworking some recent songs as well as finishing new ones. I'll be changing around the music area of this site as well. It will need to be organized differently to accomodate bodies of work. I'm also thinking of doing a little store in there to buy CDs. I've been imagining the cover art. I'm considering sending them out to DiscMakers or the like to get it done all spiffy style.
I have to thank Anthony Bell for his help recently. AIM is a brilliant thing. Cheers.

Met Ann Lindburgh tonight. She'll be the Artist in Residence in the fibers department at Cranbrook for the spring semester. She gave a very good slide presentation. Her work is interesting. Scuptural drawings that can move. Nice things. Also learned that our new friend, poet Scott Topper will be having three new works published this fall! Congrats! I'll put up links when they are available. I though that was really great. In other good news. I think I found Mikel Prester! i also started two new songs today. Potentially parts of a group with a common element throughout. More later...

Arrived back in Detroit today. Feels good to be home. It was a good two weeks. I mixed some episodes of 'Trading Spaces', 'Makeover Story', and 'Perfect Proposal' for Banyan Productions and TLC. I had a good gig with Woodenbox last night. Oren's family was in town from Tel Aviv. We went out and had a very nice evening calebrating Itomar's birthday. We painted the town red. Oren Goldman was also with us. He's a filmmaker, his last movie was 'Final Draft'. Very funny. Cheers to all.
