Check out Brian Moore in Babyface’s band on Leno! Holdin’ it down. Great drummer. Seeing that made me miss Philadelphia. Re-wired some of my studio today before heading over to Sonic Orchard for a meeting. Moving right along over there. Slow and steady. Like sands in an hourglass. Really dove into my ipod today. Filled it with some new CDs and whatnot. Good piece of kit. So the energy bill before congress includes moving the months of daylight saving time around to March and November. Hmm. 8:45 sunrise? 10:00 dusk. Oddly attractive. Can you name the first black college graduate in the USA?

Found this article about cell phones in airplanes. Really becoming an issue as more and more phones are PDAs and game devices. Looks like we’ll be able to use our phones in the sky soon. Go check it out over there ———> In other news, wrapped up the mixes of Dante’s 3 songs on Friday. Sounds good. I wired the Alan Smart C1 compressor. Very nice unit. Pumped up the jams. Also, bought vSun, a Super Nintendo emulator for Symbian phones. Amazing piece of software. I’m playing R-Type and Zelda on my Nokia. Word up. Check the link.

Received a very nice demo CD in the mail from a team supporting a your lady named Kia El-Amin. Great voice. She’s from NYC, and gigs often so go check her out. Some of her songs have a great Phoebe Snow feel. Worked with a local hip-hop act, Dante, this week @ Sonic Orchard. Good group. A DJ is doing the production which always makes for interesting beats and angles. I was back in my studio this week. Fretting and fussing. Got a number of things almost done. Stay tuned for that business. Oh, Jesse Sparhawk of Timesbold fame got his solo acoustic guitar record done! He finished it up with Alan Ford at Kampo doing the sessions. Really nice work. Austere. Distracted. Pretty. Fractured. Warm. Look for it to be released in the fall. I’ll be doing some remixes, which I’m looking forward to digging into over the coming weekend. I’ve decided to name my guitar/band/song project ‘The Floating Shift’. More later. British Open, ahoy!
