I had another very busy week at the studio. Coming down the stratch on Chris Landau’s project. Wrapped up this Christmas record. Started a few new ideas in my stuff. Who wee. So I've become addicted to pop country radio. Tequila makes her clothes fall off and whatnot. Mega busy weekend. Finishing the MiddleHill Christmas record and wrapping up Chris Landau's Flocking Party project. Big deadlines before a much needed holiday. Worked with Prolific, Ace, and C-Dell tonight. Detroit rap. Tight beats and smart lyrics. The king of Bhutan is abdicating his throne to his son, and planning on handing over rule to a democratically elected parliamentary government. Which is nice. I wonder if he's ever heard the country hit "Jesus take the wheel" ?

Very busy weekend @ Sonic Orchard. Cut and mixed two tracks with C-Dell and his producer Shaun. Very tight hip hop with thoughtful production and story-mode lyrics. Very good. Cut a new band “On Your Face” on Sunday. Yes the name leaves much to be desired but they rocked out in the studio. Mixed David Lee’s new act “Shiraz”. Clubby pop. Good voice and beats. He’s got some radio play happening in Toronto. Good things. I’ll be finishing up Chris Landau’s site this weekend. Amid the snows of December. Had a great meeting with Jason from Paxahau about the Sonic Orchard web site and promotional materials. The web site will be done ASAP. I upgraded this site to the new version of Pivot. The Photo page is jacked up but I’ll fix it this weekend. Roe v. Wade. Live from Baghdad. from $1.98/ 9/10 gal to $2.12/ 9/10 gal overnight.

Very busy week at the studio. Finalizing a lot of details. Creature comforts. I had to take the mailinglist signup form off of my site. I started getting spam from casino websites. No good. Christina and I had a photo session today with a photographer from the Detroit Free Press. They are doing a piece on the Michigan Cactus and Succulent Society. Our cat, Tito, got in on the photos as well. Bradley, Ben and I are going to go to the studio tomorrow to do our Christmas EP. I’ve got lots to do on Chris Landau’s piece as well. Had to switch to Old Grandad this week, from Old Crow. Whooo Whaaaaa.
