Elliott Earls and the Venomous Sons of Jonah performed "Bull and Wounded Horse" to a near capacity crowd @ Detroit's Music Hall on Saturday the 28th. The performance was a resounding success. It was the amazing blend of media and showmanship that Elliott has become famous for. The typography alone was really something to behold. The CD was delivered from Disc Makers just in time (thanks to Ivin Ballen). It looks great. I'll post a link to it when it's available on-line. The recordings turned out quite well. I've been enjoying it.
Started the focused rehearsals with Ben and Bradley for the next Middlehill record. It will be a collection of 9 songs. A mix of original compositions, and traditional songs. Looking forward to getting into the studio and starting the process. Stay tuned for that.
Working in the studio this week with Down to Earth, Jared Gosselin, and H Pilla. Nice to be busy.
Eagerly awaiting the delivery of my Ukulele. I found a nice Bushman uke @ Elderly Music. Yum. It will make its debut on the Middlehill record.

Had a great few days with Tiffany Queen and her producer Jared. Working on some hot new demos. Pop diva madness. Cut and mixed a track called 'Addicted'. Bangin'. Had a late night acoustic jam with G. Bradley Rhodes tonight. Always good to rip it up with the maestro himself. Very much looking forward to Elliott Earls' gig on the 28th. Should be an amazing event. Received my Cuatro guitar yesterday. 10 strings on a very small body. I'll find the time next week to dive into it. Puerto Rico.

Just back from a wonderful holiday excursion to there and back. Chrissy and I started in Philadelphia to see my family. We had a blast. Their new dog ‘Philly’ is a trip. The we headed to Brooklyn and Ridgewood to see more family, and hopped on a plane to Hawaii for a while. We stayed on the north shore of O’ahu in Haliewa, not far from Chrissy’s extended family. We had a great time with them. Enjoyed snorkeling, surfing, eating, drinking, and games. Lots of Scrabble and chess. Amazing place. I’ll have photos up soon.
I spent the last two days at Christ Church of Cranbrook recording Elliott Earls and the Venomous Sons of Jonah. Great session. I’ll be mixing the record over the next few days. The group is performing as a part of a larger performance work of Elliott’s on the 28th at Detroit’s Music Hall. Check out the link over there —->> for the Apollo program. I have sessions coming up with Lost Elementz, Chris Landau, and On Your Face (ouch what a name).
I’ll be back in my studio soon to send to prep some tracks for David Dworanczyk to play his drumming madness on. It’ll be my guitar/voice miniatures. Fun fun. Also planning a remix for a house producer from the Netherlands. Yum
