Interesting session today with Jonathan Swift. Terrific singer in the Frank Sinatra vein. We cut some vocals over some big band tracks a friend of his in Las Vegas wrote and arranged. I joined myspace.com today. Confusing as heck but I got in there. I don't like the look of any of it, but everyone said I needed to join, and everyone is often right. Had some great meetings with Down to Earth and Jason Sweeney about our various writing proects. All are doing really well and starting to get into some real good stuff. I also started production on a Gospel project with a client from Sonic Orchard. More on that later. The MiddleHill record is on track and still slated to be released at the end of April. Bringin' the heat! I'll have photos of Rocky uploaded ASAP.

Wild. I had to seriously revamp the site in the last week to kill a seemingly endless assault of comment spam. I've added a quiz question to my comment form. You'll need to answer the question before posting the comment. It's the only way to stop spambot applications from sending me hundreds of empty comments a day. Thanks for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience. I had a wonderful session with Ben and Bradley last night. We were accompanied by Elliott Earls on harmonica and banjo. I made a few short videos of the session which I'll upload this week. Started working with on some songs with a wonderful vocalist, Jason Sweeney. Clear high falsetto vibe. Good things. Chrissy is putting 40 2"x4" studs in her VW Golf today. Vroom vrooom.

Excellent week of music. Cut some more things with Brad and Ben for our next MiddleHill record. Ben's got this song that brought down the house. Cut some vocals and mixed a song by St8UvMind. Local Hip-Hop. Excellent stuff. Finishing up with Brandon and Golden Age Entertainment today. They've got a big event coming up for St Patricks Day. Put my K2000 up on eBay to make room for my K2vX which just arrived. I've bought Jaz drives for all my gear for easier file exchange. It's working out well. Odd to be using SCSI drives again. Good thing they are practically free on eBay. I'll be diving into The Flocking Party podcast this week. Hoping to get back in the studio with Jared Gosselin and bang out those Lola remixes. The Michigan winter seems to be dwindling down. Which is nice.
