So. I had a blast playing with Middlehill last weekend after almost a year. We closed out Brad's show's by serenading the crowd at the see you later reception. Had a blast. Two songs really had the room quiet and everyone paying attention. We returned to Philly on Friday and played here a the house for our motley crew of friends. The photos above : Me, Brad, Ben. Also up there is Stacy Brown and her hubby David Downham. They played a few songs on friday as well. I made her play "Shake our baby makin' bodies" twice. That song is amazing.
All of a sudden people are finding me on myspace. Lui Blonco, Shawn Level, Kevin Vecchione...all good people I'm glad to be back in touch with. Speaking of back in touch, I thought I saw Kristy Chouinere at the whole foods today. Odd. I couldn't place her until I was in Target stocking up on Peeps marshmallow bunnies. I'll have to go back and confirm. Small planet, but I wouldn't want to sweep it.

Dante and Deck Master D, Add.Verse, and Mario were in town this weekend for a rousing performance at Bryn Mawr college. Everyone had a ball. It was great to have Detroit's finest come and spend the weekend. Look for Dante's record "Roaming Empire" in stores. We were shadowed by Philly film maker Gary Hanah, who is working on a documentary project. More on that to come....
In other news, Libby Kanan was accepted tot he University of the Arts! She'll be starting in the fall. Another talent from Michigan heading east! It will be great to have her voice around the city. Benjamin Teague, G. Bradley Rhodes and I will be performing for Brad's cclosing party at Larissa Goldston's gallery in NYC on the 23rd or March. Philly friends stay tuned for a performance here @ our house on the 24th.
