06 06 07 Patience pair and constance shutterbug

Summer is rushing in to our hamlet here in South Philadelphia. Weather ranging from hot to cold and cold to hot. We have been grilling quite a bit to keep the heat out of the kitchen. Things have been good and busy at Center City Film and Video. The new show "The Let's Go Show" is about to really get underway. 20 episodes in about as many days. Should be yummy and challenging. I am eagerly awaiting the announcement of T-Mobile's 3G network. Just to get a sense of which way the wind blows in terms of future wireless connectivity (as it is about time for a new laptop and phone). I received my order of Haband clothes today, and you were right, the pants are awful, half of them are going back. I'll post a picture of me wearing some truly absurd duds. We spent the weekend in NYC celebrating my Cousins Jennifer and Christina Baker's graduation from High School and College respectively. Also enjoyed the last day of the Gordon Matta-Clark show at the Whitney, and the Serra show at the MOMA. Matta-Clark's work was amazing to experience through the films he created as documentation. The layout of the show was crowded which I think took away from the removed sections of buildings, but the films! Damn. The Richard Serra opening was stunning in a number of ways. That's an image over there. If you go to the show. Check out the 2 pieces in the courtyard. Clap your hands or shout as you are walking through. You'll never hear anything like it. It's not every day we get to walk between 2 torqued steel walls 4 feet apart and 16 feet high. The whole day was really wonderful.

I've finished some work for nFormation Design's yeast cell 3D web exploration project for U Mich. Also, diving back into the Midnighter's Project. Christina and I are thrilled for Elliott Earls and his family on the arrival of their latest son, Tollnom. That's not his real name but anyhow. We are also deeply saddened by the loss of Sabrina Seelig. Our thoughts are with Warren and family.
